abstract
This article focuses on the relation between Andalucia and the film production in the Spanish civil war. The civil war outbreak caused the division of resources and infrastructures of the cinematographic industry, remaining in Andalucia as a tool that serves to the National faction propaganda. Andalucia continues providing stages to the films coproduced with Germany. The only Andalusian film registered during these years is La casa de la Troya (1936) directed by Adolfo Aznar and Juan Vila Vilamala and produced by Andalucia Cinematografica (A.C.S.A.), company sited in Malaga.
